Scott Allen Hodgson

Scott Allen Hodgson, 40, of Louisville KY, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Maryland. He was born in Olney IL, to Melba Pierce Hodgson and the late Garry Hodgson. Scott attended Olney Central College, V.U.J.C., and Sullivan College studying art history, art therapy, psychology, computer programming and business management. He worked for 13 years for Charter Communications as a supervisor within technical support.

He enjoyed gaming, comic books and collecting action figures, as well as golfing. He truly loved spending time with his family, especially with his buddy Logan, friends and ‘peeps’ and bringing laughter into the world.

Scott is survived by his wife of 19 years, Amy Woods Hodgson, son, Logan Ryan Lee, two brothers, Gary of New Albany and Chris of Albion, mother, Melba Pierce Hodgson, seven nieces and nephews, Jessica Lutz (Jordan), Bekah Russell, Marcus Russell, Donavan Ingle, Jia Jia Hodgson, and Athea Woods, brother and sister-in-laws, Angie Woods, Audra Russell (Mark) and Don Woods (Kori), mother-in–law, Connie Woods, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Garry Hodgson, father-in-law, Donald Woods I, and grandparents; Evert and Helen Pierce, Glenn and Helen Hodgson.

A Celebration of Scott’s life will be conducted Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 10:00 am in Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road with interment to follow in Bethsaida Cemetery in Indiana.

Visitation will be Friday, July 31, 2015 from 2:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
