This picture I shared was the happiest day in my life. I am so fortunate my dad was able to marry us. The father daughter dance we shared is one of my fondest memories! Although I find comfort in knowing my dad is no longer in pain, my heart aches that he will not be here to hold my baby boy when he arrives in December! Dad, Jaxson will know how much you loved not only me but how excited you were for his arrival! He will carry your middle name, and I promise you I will teach him the things you taught me and make sure he grows up to make you proud as well!!! I love you dad, rest in peace!!!!!

I have fond memories of Scotty as a young boy playing basketball with my son Pete for community catholic.  They played a lot at old st.George gym.  He was a good kid who grew up to be a good man.  His life was way too short.  My sympathy to his family friends and all who loved him.  Rest in peace. Scotty.  

Scott you will definitely be missed, we actually met at Shawnee High School and you where a good friend. May you rest in peace. You gained your wings & God has another Angel. Fly high!

When I was a little girl and he still lived with his parents Mary my (mer Mer) we had went to visit them with my grandma and walking down the hallway he was acting like he was a sleep and scared me after that I didn't want nothing to do with him I had found out later on he who had played are Santa and came to are house on Christmas Eve was Scotty my godfather my grandmother told me that years later I'm like really I sat on his lap I guess that was the only way I got near him. So years went on I became  closer and closer and the best day ever was when I got a knock on the door from a flower company saying here happy bday as I read it, it said happy bday love Scotty I received 16 flowers that day. That has to still be one of my favorite days. Love you always

For years Scott has been a kind and welcoming man.. I would travel occasionally into Louisville and see him in the Gold Room. He was always friendly and accommodating every single time.  Through him I met Jamie, and I stayed many nights at the Motel she managed.  He always made me feel welcomed even though I wasn't a local.  I'm so sorry to hear of his premature passing.  My thoughts are with Jamie and the rest of his family, he will be sorely missed.  

i had the honor of working with scott at churchill downs. he was always ready to help anybody he treated his vips with the outmost respect. i will miss our friendly spats of me betting longshots. he will be missed by many he was a true asset to churchill downs and to horse racing.thoughts and prayers to his family.

Scott was a great person and always put others needs above his own.  He was finally doing what he loved was his dream job at Churchill Downs he truly loved Horse Racing .  Most of all he was a people person never meeting a stranger.  I feel fortunate enough to have known him and spent 10 years with him .  Gone but never forgotten

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 20 years, Jamie A. Harris; children, Angela Henderson (Tommy) and Anthony Lofgren (Danielle); grandchildren, Blaine and Jaxson; aunts, Delores Newton and Frankie Marking (Jim); along with numerous friends and his Churchill Downs family.
