Sean was born in Frankfort, Kentucky, on September 3rd, 1966, to the late Herbert “Dick” and Sally Worsley. Sean was a graduate of Middletown High School in Middletown, Delaware. According to his Facebook profile, he also attended the University of Hard Knocks, although it is unclear if a degree was obtained.
Sean was the longtime silks coordinator at Churchill Downs, Ellis Park, Kentucky Downs, and Keeneland Racecourse. His main responsibility was the care of the owners’ silks in the jockeys’ quarters at each racetrack. The responsibility which he took most seriously at work was making people laugh.
Sean was an animal lover, die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan, and loved to tell stories with his friends and family. He is survived by his sons Stephen Worsley (Megan), Salvatore Dominick, Brendan Worsley, Brian Worsley, Uncle Jack Worsley and sister Rose Riley.
A celebration of Sean’s life will be held from 3-7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 10th, 2026, at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home located at 3601 Taylor Boulevard, Louisville, Kentucky.
