She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Alma Nix; sister, Dolores Ruhs; and brothers, Robert Nix, Alfred Nix, Eugene Nix, and James Nix. She is survived by her daughter, Krista Kelly(Patrick); her unborn granddaughter, Olivia; brother, Joseph Nix(Julia); sister, Diane Carpenter(Don); and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 11am Thursday, September 24, 2026 at Evergreen Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 3pm-8pm Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Krista Kelly, on behalf of Olivia Kelly's future education fund.
