SHARON K. IRISH, 52, returned to her heavenly father Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Norton Hospital surrounded by her family.
She was born in Louisville to William D. Irish Sr. and Iris May Irish. Sharon was a 1977 graduate of Seneca High School. She was an accountant for McCann-Erickson for many years, a member of Southeast Christian Church Indiana Campus, also working in their nursery. Sharon loved the outdoors; camping, hiking, and all things to do with nature. Most of all she was known for her love for her family.
Grandson, Aiden Gadlage, precedes her in death. Left to carry on her beautiful memory are husband Patrick; children, Troy Gadlage (Missy) and Justin Gadlage (Adella) and Cory Schneidtmiller; grandchildren, Jesse, Zachary, Hunter, Kaleigh, Christian and Caleb; siblings, William D. (Julie) Jr. and Ted Allen (Teresa) Irish; and sibling in-laws, William R. (Denise) and Mark (Donna) Schneidtmiller and Dorothy Rapson (Kevin).
A service to celebrate the life of Sharon will be noon Saturday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. Interment at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
