Sherry Marlene Wallace, 72, passed away May 21, 2024 after an extended illness. Sherry was born April 8, 1952 to the late Stanley and Lula Francis Hardin. She was a Registered Nurse with a deep sense of caring for others. She spent many years working orthopedics and nursing home care. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband of 50 years, George “Corky” Wallace Jr.
Sherry is survived by her loving children Chere Hardin (Josh), Christopher Wallace, and Bradley Wallace (Alicia), grandchildren Chelsea Brooks, Garrett Brooks, Alyssa Bond, Rachel Bond, Joshua Hardin Jr., Kinsey Wallace, Eli and Ean Wallace, great grandson D.J. White Jr., great granddaughter Everly Harris and many other family and friends.
A service to honor the life of Sherry will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 2pm in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home located at 4400 Bardstown Road. Interment will follow for immediate family only. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 3pm to 8pm.
