Born in Louisville, she retired from Chevron Oil Company, where she worked in credit card accounts. She was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Huelsman, and their son, Richard Huelsman.
Shirley is survived by her children, Sandy Ernst (Dave), Cindy Terrell (Bob), Marty Huelsman (Amy), Linda Crawford (John); sister, Patricia Finley; 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:30pm on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 6500 St. Bernadette Ave, Prospect, KY, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8pm on Friday, November 23, 2018 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Mass of the Air.
