She was born in Edmonson County, Kentucky to the late Lum and Ernie White on October 15, 1938. Shirley retired after 30 years of service from being a cafeteria worker for Jefferson County Public Schools.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 61 years, Joe Hutton; one sister; and two brothers.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Cheryl Hawkins (Rick), Donna Hardin (Kerry), Kenny Hutton (Cathy); six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Ricky White; sister, Darlene Parrot; several family members and dear friends.
Visitation for Shirley will be Monday, January 27, 2025 from 2pm to 7pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home - Okolona Chapel, 8519 Preston Highway, 40219. The Funeral Service will be Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow in Evergreen Cemetery, 4623 Preston Hwy, 40213.
Memorial donations in Shirley's honor should be directed to Hosparus Health of Louisville.
