Shirley Michael, 79, of Bee Springs, passed away January 7, 2012 at her home. She was born on October 3, 1932 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Francis and Jane Davis Hildebrandt. She was a retired Data Processing Manager with Floyd County Memorial Hospital.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sister, Janet Bentley.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, James Michael; four children, Janet (Gary) Burge, Judianne (Jerry) Jackson, Harold C. (Yvonne) Guelda and Joann (Khanh) Nguyen; grandchildren, Greg, Jeffrey, Robert, Christopher, April and Dennis and ten great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be conducted Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 2pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with entombment at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation is from 4-8 on Wednesday at the funeral home.
