Stanley H. Kessler

KESSLER, STANLEY H., 85, died at Norton Audubon Hospital on August 14 , 2011. He was born April 3, 1926 in Louisville, the son of the late Walter and Elsie Kessler. Mr. Kessler was one of Jehovah's Witnesses, having been baptized on March 27, 1949. He presently served as a Christian elder with the Audubon Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses . Mr. Kessler had faith in the promises of Jehovah God and his Son , Jesus Christ as found in the Bible of living forever on a Paradise earth. He shared this wonderful hope with neighbors , relatives and friends in the public ministry of Jehovah's Witnesses. Mr. Kessler retired from the Henry Vogt Machine Company in 1990 , after 43 years of service as a machinist. Mr. Kessler was married for over 63 years to Ethel J. Kessler. He is preceded in death by his father , Walter; his mother, Elsie; and brothers, Maurice and Walter Jr. Survivors include his wife, Ethel; sisters , Mary Pat and Delia; brother, Larry; sons , Michael (Sherry), Garry (Debbie) and Daniel (Tammy); grandchildren, Jonathan Kessler (Lara), Jason Kessler (Chelsie),, Matthew Kessler and Aleiah Kessler; and great-grandchildren, Dylan , Hayden and Olivia Kessler . Funeral will be 10 a.m. on Friday at O.D. White and Sons Funeral Home, 2727 S. Third St., Louisville, 40208. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. on Thursday. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
