He was born May 7, 1947 in Louisville, KY the son of the late Paul Stanton and Amelia (Bell) Fitch. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Fitch; and a son, Troy Fitch.
Stan was a United States Navy Veteran and served in the Vietnam War. He worked as a Pipefitter for many years prior to retirement. He loved to ride his Harley and was also a member of Shrine of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Veterans Administration, and Pipefitters Local #502.
Survivors include his son, Stan Fitch, Jr. (Gerri); two grandchildren; siblings, Paul Fitch (Sharon), Paula Sanford (Steve) and Tresanne Hughes; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 3-7 PM on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Wednesday at Shrine of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 639 S. Shelby St. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
