He is preceded in death by his father Ken Jones, mother Dee Jones, and brothers Paul and David Jones.
He is survived by his loving wife Kathryn Jones, children: Andy Jones and Dianna Jones. Son, Steve Hayes and daughter, Misty Carpenter (Jack). He was known as "Papaw" to seven grandchildren: Stevie Hayes, Bella Hayes, Alyssa Hayes, Brandon McMinoway, Brooke McMinoway, Brett McMinoway, and Hayden Carpenter.
A Memorial Visitation will be held from 1 PM until 3 PM on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home (4400 Bardstown Road Louisville, Kentucky 40218).
