Stephen E. Meredith

Stephen Eugene Meredith, age 71, born March 13, 1951, of Louisville, Kentucky, was welcomed to his eternal home on Friday, July 8, 2022, at Norton Audubon Hospital. Stephen has been a member of the Dixie Valley Church of God for over 28 years. He was retired from American Synthetic Rubber. He is preceded in death by his parents, Oral and Edna Meredith; siblings, Earl Meredith, Geneva Meredith Riggs, Harold Meredith, Betty Meredith Wright, Ronald Meredith, and Diana Meredith Lombard; and a grandson, Noah Meredith. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 50 years, Gayle Parker Meredith; children, Matthew Meredith and Zachary Meredith; grandchildren, Bryan Meredith, Dakota Meredith(Carrie), Christina Cobb(Casey), Sydney Meredith, Annamarie Meredith, Hiro Meredith, Jude Meredith, Izzy Meredith, and Oscar Meredith; great-grandchildren, Riley Meredith and Ellie Cobb; siblings, Vincent Leroy Meredith(Mariko), Delores Green, and Linda Rayhill(Danny); and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be 2pm Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Evergreen Funeral Home with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects from 11am-2pm that Saturday at the funeral home.
