Steven H Hughes Sr., age 75, passed on April 8, 2026. He was a resident of Louisville, Kentucky. A compassionate and humorous man, Steven will be remembered with respect and gratitude by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carolyn Feger Paulley (Sonny), Chester Thomas Hughes Sr.; siblings, John, Mark, Chester Thomas (CT) Hughes, and Lisa Bolton.
Steven is survived by his daughter, Tricia Hughes Sowder (Doug); son, Steven Hughes Jr.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Linda Schafer, Harry Hughes (Susie), Debra Katich; sister-in-law, Lisa Hughes; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218, on April 19, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will take place at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218, on April 20, 2026, at 12:00 pm.
Entombment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218, on April 20, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
