I was saddened to hear Sue had passed away. She was such a sweet, kind, loving person and will forever be in our hearts. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

My  Husband and I adored  Sue  Vogel.
 We  first  meet  her at Hikes Point Christian Church many years  ago.  It  was  so  obvious  she loved  Jesus and her  family. 
We  spent lots  on time with her  there in Sunday  school and   dinners and  other functions , etc ,  She  could really  cook..
She was such a  snappy  dresser .She  was  always  smiling 
 and  just a  joy to  be around  .
  She  always  had a  big  hug and  kiss  for  us.
I teased and  told her I wanted  to grow  up and  be just  like her.
and  she laughed  when got a  small  condo close  to  her at Evergreen .

The day before I moved, I went to see my sweet granny. She was asleep, so I sat in the chair beside her.
At this point, dementia had almost completely taken over. But she woke up, looked straight at me and said, “My baby! Come here!” with the biggest smile on her face. She hadn’t remembered me for months.
I sat beside her on her bed, she grabbed my hand and held it until she fell asleep again.
I’m going to miss my granny more than anything in this world, but she’s not suffering from this terrible disease anymore.
Rest In Peace sweet granny. You touched so many lives and you’ll never be forgotten. May we meet again💗

She was a fine lady that adored her kids. 

Mom was such a great cook. When we got older she would fix your favorite meal for your birthday.  She would fix me meatloaf, mashed potatoes  (real), greens and cornbread. So awesome!

Sue is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse James Graham, Nellie Mae Graham; and sister, Jewell Underwood; and brother-in-law, Ralph Clark.

Left to cherish Sue’s memory is her loving husband of 68 years, Donald Vogel; children, Donna Vogel, Sherry (Larry Anderson) Vogel, Don (Amelia) Vogel Jr, Mark (Lori) Vogel, Angie (Steve) Woosley; grandchildren, Lauren Vogel Barnett, Jordan (Jordan) Bolton, Lindsay Vogel, Hannah (Casey) Woosley-Collins, Cassie Woosley; great-grandchild, Lincoln Barnett; siblings, Betty Clark, Millie (John) Henn, and James Graham.
