Sylvia Louise Ebert, 89, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025. She was born on October 6, 1936 to the late Karl and Lillian (Steinrock) Ebert. Sylvia was a member of St. Athanasius Catholic Church and the German American Club where she enjoyed singing in their chorus. She also spent her free time dancing and hiking.
Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents; and her two brothers, Carl and James Ebert.
Left to cherish Sylvia's memory is her brother, John Ebert; niece and nephews, Mark Ebert, susan Spayd (Keith), Steven Ebert; great niece and nephews, Alex Ebert, Cullen Ebert, Samuel Spayd, Lillian Spayd; and extended family.
Visitation will be held at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home - Okolona Chapel, located at 8519 Preston Highway, Louisville, Kentucky, 40219, on November 25, 2025, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
A Committal Prayer will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in the Apostles Chapel, located at 4623 Preston Hwy, Louisville, Kentucky, 40213, on November 25, 2025, at 12:00 pm.
