Born to the late Wilburn Blandford and Mary Thornsbury, Terry is also preceded in passing by his siblings Michael, Wanda, and Paul. Here to carry on his memory is his adoring wife of 47 years, Kim; their son T.J. (Laura); grandson Brayden; siblings Peter Blandford (Christy), Gary Blandford (Carmel), Beverly Tobbe (Bob), Barbara Arnold (Mark), Brenda Boley (Russell) and Lois Beaven (Ken); a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
Terry was a proud Army veteran, father, grandfather, and a loving husband. He had a deep passion for woodworking that he eventually built into a career, establishing his own construction business 25 years ago. His favorite hobbies included playing golf, playing his guitar, watching UK games, and spending time with his grandson. He held his family very close to his heart and will be sorely missed by everyone in his life.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, September 1, 2021 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. A funeral service in Terry’s honor will begin Thursday at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Habitat for Humanity.
