Terry was my stepbrother, we shared a little brother and had siblings of our own when our parents married but Terry was unique in that we lived as a family consistantly from 1969 to around 1975 during some very impressionable years,  it was a wonderful carefree time to be a kid and only a year apart got along well enough, we had banana seat bicycles to ride around on, a swimming pool in the park within walking distance, a neighbor Luke Cooper across across the street had a basket ball hoop that we regularly played until dusk, enjoyed shopping for board games at Zayre and trips to Western Auto for bike parts, before malls Christmas shopping on 4th street at places like Woolworths, swimming down by the docks in the Ohio river (it was cleaner back then), his father kept a camping trailer in Shelbyville at Lake Shelby for a time that was fun to visit, he had a boat and took us to Lake Nolin to go bass fishing a few times, and a red pickup truck with 3 on the column for trips to McNeely Lake to cane poll fish from the shore, our parents worked at night so many Saturday evening's we eat spam sandwiches and Kit Kat bars while watching old black and white horror movies on WDRB TV Creature Features and playing catchers or tag in the neighborhood at night during the summer when it was warm, I fondly recall all of the trips to the Twilight and Preston Drive in's and Trick or Treating using pillow cases to hold our candy,  our teen years were spent at Blue Lick Skating Rink and hanging out and mischief at the Hagan's house with kids our own age a few doors down while living in Oakolana from 1973 on,  He reconnected with me about 4 years ago on facebook which makes his passing all the much harder to take.  To anyone in the future that may happen upon this and only knew him as an adult I would like you to know, he was a really happy kid and fun to grow up with, I feel privileged for the time that we had. RIP brother. 

I am the forgotten sibling. I am Terry's sister who has spent her life living in California. I have only spent limited time visiting and chatting with Terry and now cherish those precious moments. Until we meet again, brother I wish you eternal peace🙏

Memorial Visitation

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Thomas Ladd, Sr., and Margaret Jarrett Ladd.  He is survived by his children, Crystal Williams, Toby Adams, and Shawn Coffey; siblings, Jacqueline Newman, Donald  Ladd, Donna McBride and Sandy Brown and Debe Hughes and nieces and nephews. nd nephews.
