Mom,
As hard as it is to let you go,it is also somewhat of a comfort to know that you are whole again. I know you are with all your loved ones that went before and I am sure that was some reunion. Just know that I, Steve, Shannon, Stevie, Marissa and Savannah(your little buddy) love you. I will make it a point to keep you alive in Savannah's eyes as you always asked me to. I also want you to know you left behind some great memories. One of which I will never forget was when you and Ruby and I use to go to Sears and shop when we were kids and then go by the Dizzy Whiz to eat. Whenever we were in pain or in the hospital having our own babies or sick, you were right there. You may not have been able to sit right beside us (because you couldn't stand to see us in pain) but you were close by nonetheless. I am so glad you were able to see my children and grandchildren born and got to know all of them. As we all got older you really became that "friend" that we needed. You would do anything for anyone and had the best heart anyone could have. You deserved everything good that happened to you on this earth. I miss you and will love you until the day after forever.

I married Ernie 12 years ago and when I did that I not only got a wonderful loving husband but a fabulous family. I loved Grandma as she was my own. I will miss her at the Sunday dinners at Ruby's house. The baseball playing she did with the boys and most recently when Ruby and I took her to the zoo. She tried to act like she wasn't thrilled about being there but then we got to the meerkats and gorillas and she didn't want to stop watching them. I'm so thankful to have shared these past 13 years with her. I will miss her dearly, but will keep her memory alive with the stories to the boys.

Grandma:
I will miss you. You were a fiesty little thing. You got on us for acting silly sometimes and then you would go and do something yourself. I remember when you went to spend the night at mom's house I came over and worked seek-n-finds with you...and you were on top of your game....amazing. We drank coffee and ate a sweet...brownies I think.
MOM, Ruby, Berta, Diane: I know you are suffering a great loss. Nothing can prepare us for the sadness or the pain we we feel when we lose a loved one. Hopefully soon the memories we have will replace the pain and void we are feeling right now. I love you all!!

Thelma was a wonderful volunteer and friend, and I will miss her so much! She volunteered at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital since August 1999, donating over 6500 hours. She made us laugh and always made sure she washed my coffee cup for me. Thank you Ruby for taking her into your home and giving her a safe and happy home, she loved working puzzles with Sam! We will all miss her in the Volunteer Office. God bless her.
