Thelma Jean Cash

She was born to the late William and Belva Weedman on November 14th, 1933. Jean is preceded in death by her siblings; James Weedman, Robert Weedman, Curtis Weedman, and Dorothy Fisler.

Jean managed several family owned businesses and loved being a mother and grandmother. She attended Briargate Presbyterian Church and enjoyed spending time in the childrens nursery. She enjoyed traveling with her family in the motorhome, bowling, sewing, crocheting and many other crafts.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 73 years, David R. Cash. Along with her children Linda Ferry (Bob), Cheryl Matuschka (Paul), Amy Titus (Gary); Grandchildren, Mike Patterson (Sara), Brian Patterson (Melinda), Ashley Pearson (Drew), Carolyn Hickman (Phil), Cole Matuschka, Jordan Matuschka, David Smith, Tommy Johnson (Alice), Andrew Johnson, Danette McClain (Jeremy), Mindy Withrow (Dan); 22 great grandchildren; and her beloved miniature schnauzer, Gracie.

A visitation for Jean will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven.

Thelma will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218.
