Thelma Marie Lafferre, 97, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2025. She was born on November 30, 1927, to the late Ercill and Madeline Hunt. Thelma taught at St. Lawrence Catholic School for 35 years. Thelma was a lifelong artist, an avid bowler, and a member of The LOLAC Art Club.
Thelma is preceded in death by her parents; Ercill and Madeline (Roberts) Hunt, and siblings; Busey, Gayle, Laymon Allen, Linda Jo, Mary Carole, Nina Lou, and Gary Ralph.
Left to cherish Thelma’s memory are her children; Michael Lafferre (Bobbie) and Toni Roberts; grandchildren, Amy Parrish (Craig), Melissa Thompson (Andrew), and Evan Lafferre (Emily), great-grandchildren; Colton, Ethan, Marlowe, and Quentin, and brother; Ercill Ray Hunt.
Visitation for Thelma will be held Tuesday, June 3, 2025, from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM at Evergreen Funeral Home, with a funeral to follow directly at 2:00 PM. Thelma will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
