Thelma Murphy passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. She was born in Hazard, Kentucky on April 6, 1943 to the lates’ Joseph and Barbara Gay. Thelma was a server at Bob Evans for 25 plus years. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren more than anything in life.
Thelma was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Michelle Murphy Fawbush; sisters, Dolly Collins, Ethel Hawkins; brother, Junior Morgan; and son-in-law, Scott Fawbush.
Left to cherish Thelma’s memory are her daughters, Cathy McGuire, Judy Feldkamp; son, Donald Murphy; grandchildren, Monica Goller (Brian), Kara Revard, Jeremy Murphy, Jessee McGuire, John Wolney, Jr.; 13 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Visitation for Thelma will be Wednesday, August 6, 2025 from 1:00 pm until 7:00pm at Arch L Heady & Son Funeral Home – Okolona Chapel, 8519 Preston Hwy, 40219. Her Funeral Service will be Thursday at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Cremation will follow.
