Teds family, My heart is broken to hear about his passing..from day 1 when I started at Belmont he made sure I had a smile on my face but you can't help but smile when you seen or talked with him...have so many memories of him when I worked there. I adopted him as my grandpa & we had some great conversations..I'm sure he is having a drink with the other 2 amigos (Paul & Bob)..sending my deepest sympathy to you all.

It is with tremendous sadness I write this condolence to all of Ted's family.  My heart breaks for each of you.  Jim and I enjoyed our friendship with Ted and Loretta so very much.  Years of tennis, dinners, parties and friendship are treasured memories.  I admired Ted for his kindness , generosity and unwavering loyalty to family and friends.  There was always a dumpster at the ready  when I needed it. The universe has lost a great man. He lived life fully and will be missed by everyone. I will miss his annual phone call to wish me a Happy New Year and with birthday wishes as our birthdays are July 5 and 6. 20 years apart. He would laugh as he told me he always knew how old I was.  He will join Loretta and his many friends Jim, Bill Penny, Frank Bergamini , the heavens will rock. I hope they play a round of golf and shoot their age. 
I'm so sorry I cannot be in Louisville to pay my respects in person. My heart and thoughts are with you.

Ted and his business partner, Paul Allgeier, were giants in their industry but always had time to mentor those who were trying to duplicate their success.  I am so thankful that they supported me during my career and I will never forget their positive attitude toward life and business. Their motto “ No Excuses Just Service” lives on through their sons Ted Jr. and Dennis.

Ted and the late Paul Allgeier were mainstays of that Rotary club. Nearly 30 years ago they made me feel welcome as a visiting Rotarian to their club meetings and activities.  

Ted and Paul were special human beings who made a positive impact on the lives of so very many.  Selling apples with them at the giant Mid-America Truck Show was particularly pleasant for many years.

Thank you, Ted. Thank you, Paul.  You lifelong friends are together again at rest in Heaven.

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your father.   I lost my dad in 2021 at 90, and remembered him talking about how much he liked your dad when they grew up together.  I just lost my mother-in-law, Annie Van Vooren, on Monday, April 27.  She has been ready to "go home" for a couple years now, and was in a lot of pain in her last days, but died peacefully.  I know she is reunited with Jackie (her daughter/my wife) and her loving husband.  I'm sure your dad is reuniting with loved ones as well, and especially our Lord and Savior.  Hope you and the family are doing well.

I only knew Ted through Rotary. He was always involved in the club and treated everyone as a friend.  Rest in Peace. Prayers to the family.

Ted, great man and Rotarian. We'll miss his laugh, and sense of humor at our Rotary meetings. He was a big ULCards fan, too. Rest in peace.
