He is survived by his daughter, Heather Fogle, and his grandson, Elliott Waldridge, both of whom he held very dear. Ted is also survived by his siblings, Cathy Bunch, Raymond Riedinger, and Rose Anderson; his sister-in-laws Sheila Thomas and Pam Maneely (Mike); several nieces and nephews; special friends Dave Neuner, Greg Messina, and Bill Burch, along with countless other close friends and extended family.
A proud alumnus of Bishop David High School and a loyal member of Knights of Columbus, where he found a community that shared his values and beliefs. His career as a chemical operator at Dupont was marked by dedication and a strong work ethic. He was a man of his word, and he imparted this virtue on those around him, encouraging them to do the same. He believed in the power of commitment and reliability, lessons that continue to impact those who knew him.
Theodore had a zest for life, which was reflected in his favorite pastimes. He was an avid supporter of the Louisville Cardinals and enjoyed spending time at the lake or attending Louisville football games. His drink of choice was a Jack & Coke, a simple pleasure that brought him great joy.
One of Theodore’s greatest strengths was his ingenuity. Ted would give you the shirt off his back and would go above and beyond to help anyone, a testament to his determination and loyalty. Those who had the privilege of knowing Ted remember him as a man defined by boundless kindness and a radiant spirit. A humble soul with a heart of gold, Ted had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel like a lifelong friend.
Perhaps his most lasting legacy is the bond of friendship he left behind. Being a good friend was very important to him, and he embodied this through his life by consistently offering a listening ear, a helping hand, or a quirky phrase, such as, "I'll tell ya what, I don't know what to tell ya".
Ted's presence will be dearly missed, but his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the eternal love he gave so freely in life.
