

Thomas is survived by Jo Ann, his wife of 24 years. Preceding him in death were his parents, a son, William Mangus, from Oklahoma City and his sister, Helen Todd, from Checotah, Oklahoma.
Thomas graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Pharmacy. His career evolved from work as a pharmacist, to pharmaceutical sales and drugstore management, followed by new challenges in the Medicaid and Medicare government programs in administration and as a fraud specialist in Missouri and Kentucky.
He is survived by his children, Thomas, Robert and Kenneth Mangus, Pamela Maleske, Melissa Ballard, Theresa Calmes, and stepchildren, James Weadick and Karn Soltero. He is also survived by three nieces, grandchildren, and two special little step-granddaughters, Sara Watts and Charlotte Craft.
The family wishes to thank the incredible staff at Jefferson Manor who took excellent and attentive care of Tom for the past two years.
A private family memorial will be held later this spring in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Tom was a kind and loving man.
In his memory, donations may be made to Kosair Children’s Hospital or The Animal Care Society, both in Louisville, Kentucky.
