Thomas James Monahan, 69, passed away on August 21, 2023. He was born in Louisville, KY on July 21, 1954, to the late William and Virginia Monahan. Tommy retired from Phillip Morris after 33 years of service.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Tonja Monahan; son, Casey Monahan (Nicole); grandchildren, Caeden, Abbi, Rowan; siblings, Ethel Henry (Charles), Bill Monahan (Sue); and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Tommy was preceded in passing by his daughter, Andrea Monahan; brother, Kevin Monahan; and sister, Marguerite Guthrie.
A memorial visitation and time to gather and share stories will take place on Tuesday, August 29th, from 2 PM until 6 PM at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road.
