Pete was born to Thomas K. Davidson Sr. and Mary Louise Davidson. He was a retired pilot and photographer with Davidson Aerial Surveys. He also worked for many years at UPS in the fueling department. Pete was a longtime, devoted volunteer and parishioner at Saint Leonard’s Catholic Church and a proud member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Louis Bertrand.
Pete had a deep love for photography, watching University of Kentucky basketball, and—most of all—spending time with his family and friends.
Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Roberta “Bobbie” Davidson. Pete and Bobbie met in grade school, and their relationship grew into nearly fifty years of marriage before her passing. He was also preceded in death by his in-laws and other family members.
Pete is survived by his son, Joseph Davidson; his daughter, Emily Davidson (Stephon Anderson); and extended family.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to the dedicated nurses and staff at Hospice Health for their kindness, compassion, and wonderful care and support.
A Mass to celebrate Pete’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. February 16th at Saint Leonard’s Catholic Church, 440 Zorn Avenue. Entombment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Family and friends are welcome back to Pete’s home afterward for refreshments.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 15th at Arch L. Heady–Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Avenue.
Pete’s personal request was that expressions of sympathy be made to Hospice Health and Saint Leonard’s Catholic Church.
