OBITUARY
Thomas Martin Pinkston
October 13, 1923 – January 8, 2022

IN THE CARE OF
Arch L. Heady at Resthaven & Resthaven Memorial Park
Pinkston, Thomas Martin, 98, passed away January 8th at Baptist East Hospital after a short illness. He retired from International Harvester after 35 years of service, then went on to operate a lawn service company for another 33 years. A hard-worker all of his life, he remained determined and lived independently, maintaining his home and working in his yard and flowers, until the illness.
He was preceded in death by all ten of his siblings; his wife, Willie Mae; his daughters, Betty Jo Shafer, and Sandra Craig; his grandson Jeffrey Coombs; and great-granddaughter Krista Wagner.
He is survived by his sons Willie “Bill” Pinkston (Kathy) and Steven R. Pinkston (Theresa); 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and his special friend Kathy Reinhart and her family.
A visitation will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, with a funeral to follow immediately at 2:00pm.
