He was born July 15, 1949 in Louisville, son of the late William Thomas and Ruth Warren Reid.
He was a retired Letter Carrier with the United States Postal Service for 35 years, and was also a United States Navy Veteran.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 41 years, Pamela Reid; two daughters, Beckie Russell and Tracie Bland and her husband Mike; grandchildren, Kayla, Keith, Jr., and Karlena Russell, Taylor and Michael Bland; a great-granddaughter, Aubrey Nicole; mother-in-law, Betty Cox Muscutt and her husband Jim; and one sister.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Thursday, December 22, 2011 in the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2 – 8 PM on Wednesday and after 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
