Thomas M. Sims, 65, of Louisville passed away Friday April 23, 2010 at his residence after suffering a long illness of COPD. He was a member of the Home Builders Association and a catholic by faith. He was preceded in death by a son, Andy Sims; his father, Patrick Sims; and a brother, Bobby Sims. He is survived by his wife, the former Robbie King; daughters, Samantha and Amy Sims; his mother, Dorothy Barnes Sims; sisters, Mary Sims, Barbara Semones, and Martha Jean Liebert; brothers, Billy, Tony, Art, Dick, Kenny and Jeff Sims; and three grandchildren. A celebration of Mr. Sims life will be held at 2 pm Tuesday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with private burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
