Thurlo J. Brown, 86 of Louisville peacefully passed away at her home, Wednesday, April 13, 2011. She was born to Butler and Rosa Phelps Johnson. She had retired from P. Lorillard and was a member of Roundhill Church of Christ. Thurlo is preceded in death by her husband Chester "Brownie" Brown. She is survived by her sister, Verena Keown, nephew, Roy W. Keown, nieces, Shirley Potter (Fred), Alene Priddy and Patty Lee. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews. A funeral will be conducted 12 noon Saturday April 16, 2011 at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum. Friends are invited to attend the visitation 1-8 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2011.Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Crusade for Children.
