Thurston "Buddy" Allen

Thurston “Buddy” Allen, 81, of Louisville, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018. He worked for Roadway express for 35 years before retiring and becoming a bus driver for handicapped children for several years. He loved to be with his family, watch sports and go fishing.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Allen; parents, Harl and Jessie Allen; siblings, Howard, Irene, Bernice, Rufus, Hardin, Vedia, Mary Edith, Frankie, James and Ronnie.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Tony, Ernie, Norman (Carol), Denise (Glenn), Chris (Kristil), and Tom; siblings, Bobby, Harriet and Chuck; grandchildren, Amber, Nicole, Jennifer, Travis, Curtis, Donovan, Heather, Erica, Evelyn, Melissa, Geoffrey, Anna, Tiffany, Taylor, Madison, and Lily; great-grandchildren, Fynn Williams and 9 others; and several nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Service will be held at 2pm on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Evergreen Dignity Memorial Chapel. The visitation will be Wednesday From 4pm-8pm at the funeral home.
