HOGAN, TIMOTHY J., 55, of Okolona, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2009 at his home. He was a master mechanic and was owner of A-1 Tim's Wrecker Service and Tim's Hardware in the Silver Heights Shopping Center. Tim also was a Navy veteran, was a NASCAR rookie of the year and a Catholic by faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Hogan; and a son, Matthew Hogan. He is survived by his mother, Mary Hogan; wife, Rebecca (Pennington) Hogan; son, Michael A. Hogan; two stepchildren, April N. Higgs (Kenneth) and David B. Ross; a brother, Patrick K. Hogan (Alice); and three grandchildren, Adrianna Hogan, Krysten and Alan Higgs. Funeral services for Mr. Hogan will be 10 a.m. Monday at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 8519 Preston Hwy., with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Sunday.
