Timothy Knuckles, age 88, passed away peacefully on May 25,2026. He was born on February 10, 1938, to Colson and Carrie Knuckles in Bell County, Kentucky. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, outdoorsman, and faithful servant of the Lord whose life touched countless people in his community.
Timothy was a dedicated Deacon and member of Community General Baptist Church and loved the Lord deeply.
He wore many hats throughout his career at Kroger, he was a logger and a meat cutter. He celebrated his retirement after over 30 years, but still never kept still.
Timothy was a lifelong nature lover who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time in nature. A proud member of the Silver Creek Beagle Club, he raised many Beagles and truly enjoyed his faithful pet companions. Other hobbies he cherished were woodworking and whittling; he was a man who could fix anything.
Timothy was known to take care of everyone. He never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He had a special place in his heart for children and was a long-standing donor to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. He adored his beloved wife of over 60 years, Magdalene, and always made sure she was well taken care of, even above himself. His family will remember his strong moral character, generous spirit, and the lasting impact he made on everyone who is fortunate enough to have known him.
Along with his parents, Timothy was preceded in death by his sister, Pauline Knuckles Parrott; and his brothers, Odell Knuckles and Cody Knuckles.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Magdalene Knuckles; his daughters, Beverly Craine (Michael) and Muriel Seabolt (Scott); his granddaughter Megan Marcum, her husband Jackson, and Baby Von Hoene; and his granddaughter Abigail Lewis, her husband Noah and their daughters, Zelda and Fable; his brothers, Bobby Knuckles and Zenas Knuckles; his sisters, Faye Knuckles and Sharon Knuckles; his close family friends, the Hauger family; as well as many other dear family members and friends.
A visitation for Timothy will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home in Louisville, Kentucky on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 11:00AM to 2:00PM with a funeral service to follow in the same location on the same date beginning at 2:00PM. He will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests for memorial contributions to be made in Timothy’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
