Tina M Meredith

of Louisville, entered the Kingdom of Heaven Sunday, October 23, 2016.

Born September 30, 1955, Tina was a member at St. John Paul II Catholic Church and recently achieved her career as an Early Childhood director and teacher at John Paul II Academy. Brightened by the presence of children, she embraced the opportunity to touch the lives of her students and treasured her time spent as a teacher.

An amazing cook and quintessential caretaker of the home, Tina prepared memorable dinners while pulling the whole family together at the kitchen table time and time again. Her lasagna was loved by and will be remembered by many. She enjoyed gardening, fresh flowers, hosting family and friends for holiday celebrations and found the ocean as her own paradise on Earth.

She was preceded in death by parents Thomas and Carol Carrico. Left to cherish her memories are her life-partner Don Meredith; sons Andrew Meredith, Kevin Meredith and Sean Meredith and daughter Kristin Meredith; sister Cathy Carrico, nephew Tyler Doerhoefer, niece Catie Doerhoefer, brothers Thomas Carrico Jr. and Tim Carrico (Cindy), nephew Ben Carrico and many close friends and cousins for whom Tina held close to her heart.

A funeral mass will be held Thursday at 10am at Saint John Paul II Parish 3042 Hikes Lane Louisville, KY 40220 with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8pm at Arch L Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Rd Louisville, KY 40218. Expressions of sympathy can be made to the charity of your choice in Tina’s name.
