Tonya L. Payne, 62, of Louisville, passed away April 20, 2023. She was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Purvis; son, Josh Payne; son-in-law, David Wright Sr.; and her parents-in-law, Mary and Curtis Campbell. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Robert Payne; son, Toby Purvis(Camille); daughter, Katie Wright; grandchildren, Selena Williams(Jimbo), Zachary Purvis, Toby Purvis Jr., Hanna Wright, Robert Purvis, and Josh Payne; great-grandchildren, Brently and Oaklynn; her brothers and sisters, Libby Carwile(Mike), Dale Harper, Anita Leake, Melissa Goff(Scott), Sammy Purvis(Angela), Timmy Purvis(Traci), and Brad Purvis; and sister-in-law, Wilma Hultman(Greg).
Funeral service will be 1pm Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be 2pm-8pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial donations in Tonya's memory can be made to The Healing Place or to an animal charity of the sender's choice.
