Troyce “Emogene” Britt Williams, 88, of Louisville went to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, February 19, 2019.

She was a resident at Symphony at Valley Farms the last 2 years. She loved to bowl, play softball, attended senior luncheons and activities, watch UK Basketball, Atlanta Braves Baseball, take trips to Churchill Downs and dance to the live music played at Valley Farms.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Rose Wells and Jenny Brian; grandchildren, Danny Joe Brian, Marty Brian, Katie Sparks, and Jason Wells; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Memorial Donations in Emogene’s name can be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William Beckham and Rhoda Britt; her loving husband of 52 years, Albert Lee Williams; her brother, Johnny William Britt, Murrell Britt, and Wilbert Britt; and her beloved cat, Sambo. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Rose Wells and Jenny Brian; grandchildren, Danny Joe Brian, Marty Brian, Katie Sparks, and Jason Wells; and 5 great-grandchildren.
