She was born in Metcalfe County, Kentucky on November 1, 1930 to the late Joe and Mary Moss Martin Beasley. Christine was also preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Chester, in 2002; and by her sisters, Nellie Beasley and Pat Keith. She retired from Mother's Bakery, having worked there and at Donaldson Bakery for many years.
Christine is survived by her children, Mark Waynick (Debbie), Michael D. Waynick, Martha Pope Kolb (Don), and Martin Pope (Kathy); her sisters, Geno Faulkenberg and Judy Avery; and her loving companion, Daymond Keith. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM at the Arch L. Heady & Son Southern Funeral Home located at 3601 Taylor Boulevard. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
