He was an avid UK fan and enjoyed fishing. He loved his brothers at the Local 502 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union. Vance was the life of the party and he lived life to its fullest, what he loved and adored the most, was his pride and joy, his daughter Jayna.
Vance is preceded in death by his great grandfather, Merle C. Vance, grandparents, Tom and Marianne Knight.
Our beloved Vancie is survived by his parents, Mike and Terri Knight, great grandparent, Nita Vance and grandparents, Robert and Beverly Higgins, siblings, Wayne (Candice) , Clint, Gala, Shannon (Daniel), and Nolan. Daughter, Jayna, niece, Shaelyn. Vance leaves behind many close family and friends and will be deeply missed “For-Ev-Err.”
A celebration of Vance’s life will be conducted at 12 noon on Monday, June 1, 2015 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Friends are invited to attend a visitation from 3-8pm on Sunday, May 31, 2015..
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for Jayna’s education fund.
