Verna Johns

Verna is preceded in death by her husband; Floyd L. Johns, Sr., parents; Oscar and Mary Putty, brother; Paul Putty, sister; Jeanette Liuzzi, and great-grandson; Garrett.

Verna is survived by her children; Floyd L. Johns III (Betty), Wanda Losch (Roger), and Byron Johns, Sr., grandchildren; Shannon Buxton, Beth Thompson, Brittany Mercer, Tonya Maxey, Byron Johns, Jr., Ashley Johns, and Camry Johns, great grandchildren; Alexander, Elise, Aidan, Emery, Jeroen, Evan, Jaden, Lexie, Katlyn, Taylor, Emily, Trenton, Bristol, great-great granddaughter; Paislee, brother; Johnny Putty, and sister-in-law; Gloria Putty; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A visitation for Verna will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2025, from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will resume Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at 11:00 am with a funeral to follow at 12:00pm. Verna will be laid to rest at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
