Viana Delores (Lynn) Beck

Viana Delores (Lynn) Beck, a devoted servant of the Lord and a cherished matriarch of her family, entered into eternal rest and the loving arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 5, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky, at the age of 93. Born on August 19, 1932, in Liberty, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Ira and Ola (Murphy) Lynn.

Viana lived a life of steadfast faith, prayer, and obedience to God’s Word. Her days were marked by humility, sacrificial love, and a tireless commitment to serving others. Her unwavering trust in the Lord was evident in every season of her life, and she sought to glorify God through both her work and her relationships. She was surrounded by her family in worship, with her eyes and heart fixed on Jesus, faithfully praising Him as she went home to be with the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul C. Beck; her son, Phillip Beck; her brothers, Gary Lynn, Lowell Lynn, Donnie Lynn, Orvis Lynn, and Darrel Lynn; and her sister, Lucille Neff. We rejoice in the assurance that they are now reunited in the presence of the Lord.

She is survived by her loving children: Jerry (Carol) Wethington, Phyllis Beck, and Delisa “Lisa” (Leonard) Basham; her sister, Geraldine Francis; and a host of family and friends who were blessed by her godly example.

Viana was a joyful and proud “Granny” to 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She faithfully prayed over each generation, leaving a legacy of faith, kindness, and Christ-centered love that will continue for generations to come.

With a remarkable work history, Viana dedicated 40 years to Louisville Bedding. Even in retirement, she continued to serve others by cleaning houses, believing that all work done unto the Lord is honorable. She never sought recognition, desiring only to be faithful in what God placed before her. Her life reflected the truth of Scripture: “Well done, good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:21)

She was a devoted member of Clifton Heights Christian Church, where she faithfully attended services, participated in church activities, and continually nurtured her relationship with the Lord. Her faith was the foundation of her life, guiding her actions, shaping her character, and sustaining her through every season.

Those who knew Viana remember her as a true reflection of Christ’s love and grace. Her door was always open, her table always prepared, and her arms always ready to welcome and comfort those in need. She lived out her faith daily, serving others with humility, compassion, and selfless generosity. Her life was a testimony to God’s love, and she embodied her beliefs through countless acts of kindness and service.

Friends and family recall her as a woman of unwavering faith, whose trust in God never faltered. She shared the light of Christ with everyone she encountered, offering encouragement, prayer, and love. Viana’s legacy is one of deep faith, unconditional love, and a servant’s heart, and she leaves behind a powerful example of what it means to walk faithfully with God.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 12th, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at the Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Avenue, Louisville, Kentucky 40206

Another hour of visitation will take place at the same location, the following day, Tuesday, January 13th, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, prior to the funeral service, beginning at 11:00 AM.

Burial will immediately follow the service at 12:00 PM, in the Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218.
