Vicki S. Johnston

Vicki obtained her master’s degree in education from Ball State University and spent her career teaching. She loved children and was even a girl scout troop leader.

She had a strong religious faith and was a member of St. Peter the Apostle. Vicki enjoyed puzzles, word games, and playing the piano. She loved dogs and even used to show samoyeds.

In addition to her parents, Vicki is preceded in death by her brother: Charlie Chesher, Jr.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Kelsey Johnston and Kenneth Johnston; her grandson: Clemon Johnston; her siblings: Kevin Chesher (Tina), Patt Hess (Joe), Cathy Bartoszek, and Sandy Chesher-Degonzague (Kevin).

Visitation will be 4-8 PM Thursday, September 10, 2026 at Arch L Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218. A service to honor Vicki will be held 12 PM Friday, September 11 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
