

She attended Kaleidoscope where she was involved in music and art both individually and in a group setting. She also attended Studioworks/Zoom Groups where she used different textiles to produce art that she sold. She was a ‘Faith Bucket’, sloshing her faith onto others and a huge prayer warrior. “I’d rather be a happy hopper than a worry wart,” she’d say.
Vickie was preceded in rest by her Parents, Squire Nichols and Bettie Cornett (Dick); a brother, Ricky Nichols; her grandparents and aunts and uncles.
She is survived by two sisters, Kim Hunt (Daniel) and Tina Nichols; three brothers, John Nichols, Kenny Nichols (Terri) and Chuck Nichols; two nephews, Seth Hunt (Catie) and Kyle Hunt; and other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her funeral will be on Tuesday, September 19th, at 12 noon at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with interment following in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be on Monday from 5pm until 8pm.
