I am your cousin Rosemary's daughter, Lisa.  I had no idea Uncle Junie had passed until I read a family letter from Tom and Miriam Vidas in Colorado.  My grandma was his sister Emma.  When my mom was dying in the hospital this past February, your dad actually called up to the ICU and offered to drive to Ohio to see her and be with us!  I told him I didn't think he should-it was kind of funny-he sounded kind of relieved! I didn't get to contact him much, but had known him well enough to know I loved him and thought he was really something else.  I actually sent him a Christmas picture of my three children and a letter, too. 
I am so sorry you lost your dad-it doesn't matter if they're up in age or have been ill, it still leaves such a hole in your life.  My prayers are with you.

Virgil would come into the McDonalds on N. Hubbards Lane and chat with many of us.  Our thoughts and prayers were with him on the passing of his wife.  He would come in just for some time to read and be around people.  I had given him some inspirational reading.  He often talked to Daniel who is involved with the security of our country.  And Virgil shared with him the deep saddest he felt when he lost his son.  Presently Daniel is out of the country, and I know he will be saddened to hear the news of Virgil's passing.  We both had seen Virgil at a different McDonalds he seems like only a month ago.  He had a strong devotion to our country.  He will be deeply missed by all of us.  And, we want to thank him tremendously for his service to our country.  May your cherish memories help you through your mourning and bring you some laughter and joy and peace...

I am so sorry to hear of Virgil's passing. he was a gifted engineer, and more important, a friendly and generous person, who was always a pleasure to work with, and willing to share his knowlege and expertise with his reps. Our hearts and prayers go out to you.

I was so very sad to hear the news.  Your father was my father's cousin.  My dad loved him.  Called him junior.  When he would stop in Niles, Ohio to visit it would be pure joy to listen to the two of them talk and reminisce.  I like to think they are now catching up in heaven.  My deepest sympathy.

Cyndy and I were sorry to read of Virgil's passing and yet we are encouraged when we think back on his faith in Christ, knowing his eternal destiny is certain. To David, Laurel and Neal, I will forever be grateful for the kindness Virgil and the entire Plummer family has shown me.

Mr. Plummer you will be truly missed! You were a wonderful neighbor to my grandparents, then me and eventually my own family.  We loved hearing your stories and you ALWAYS had a friendly wave as you drove by. I'm really going to miss seeing you and Bionca drive by. Rest in peace dear friend!
