She is survived by her loving children; Phyllis Bird (John Murphy), Barbara Basham, Bernita Florence (William), and Phillip Blake ( Cheryl), her 3 brothers; Donald, Allan, and Leroy, and her sister; Sharon, her 12 grandchildren, 21 great, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
A service to celebrate Virginia’s life will be held at Noon Saturday in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Ave. with interment at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4-8 Thursday, 1-8 Friday, and after 10 Saturday.
