Virginia Gooch Bryant

Bryant, Virginia G., 88, entered into eternal rest on November 2, 2017. Virginia was a loving and caring woman who enjoyed spending time with her family. She had a special love for her grandchildren and helped in raising them. Virginia graduated from Crab Orchard High School in 1946 and was a telephone operator for Southern Bell for 6 years. Virginia beat breast cancer in 2008. She loved to read and garden. She was a very special lady and will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Bryant; son, David Bryant; and grandson, Gregory Bryant.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Jane Logsdon (Larry), Gina Morris (Mike), and Nita Bilyeu (Wes); grandchildren, Lindsay Morris, Cameron Powell (Emily), Christopher Akin, and Cara Carmichael (John); best friends, Bill Higdon and Agnes Kavanaugh; and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be Monday, November 6th at 10:00am at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00pm-8:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private at Evergreen Cemetery.
