GRACE, Virginia Sue, 92, passed away on Friday, July 14. She was born in Muldraugh, Kentucky on April 20, 1925, to the late Lionel and Catherine (Chappell) Goodman. In 1951, Virginia married Robert Grace, a sailor in the United States Navy, and spent the next 36 years with him until his death in 1987. She was very proud of his service and very passionate about her love and support for the U.S. Navy.
Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Eric Grace, Robin Johnson, and Bobby Grace; 6 granddaughters; and 6 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Arvin. Visitation will be on Monday from 5-8 at Arch L. Heady, 3601 Taylor Blvd. A celebration of life service will take place at the funeral home at 10am on Tuesday, with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Home of the Innocence.
