Virginia Haines, 99, of Louisville passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015. She was born on August 10, 1915 in Georgetown, IN. Virginia retired from AT&T in 1980 after 35 years of service. She was a lifetime member of C.W.A. and Telephone Pioneer.
Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, Leo C. Haines; parents, Raymond and Golda Blotz; brother, Victor Blotz; and half sister, Betty Walsh.
Left to cherish Virginia’s memory are her children, Linda Painter and Richard Haines (Pam); grandchildren, Todd Painter (Kathy), Dominic Haines, Brittany Higdon (Chris), and Brandon Painter; great-grandchildren, Tucker Higdon, Charleigh Higdon, Harlowe Haines.
There will be a visitation 11am-1pm on Saturday at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home - Okolona. There will be no funeral service at the funeral home. Graveside service will follow the visitation at Evergreen Cemetery.
