Virginia M Lesher

Virginia M. Lesher, age 92, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. Virginia was born January 17, 1929 the daughter of George Frank Miller and Agatha Mary Morganroth. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Louisville.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Loving husband, Francis L. Lesher, one son, Joseph Lesher, Granddaughters: Jenell Lesher, Amanda Garrett, Great Grandsons: Michael Dabney and Dominic Downs; Great Granddaughter Tiffani Kiefer, and 9 siblings.

She is survived by three sons: Michael (Lisa), Stephen (Pat), Larry (Sandy) Lesher, three daughters: Shirley Lampe, Brenda Bowling (Dave), Patty Downs, 18 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren, one sister, who is her best friend, Leona Saylor, one sister in law, Carolyn Lesher and many friends

Funeral service will be Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 2 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home (4400 Bardstown Road Louisville, Kentucky 40218).

Visitation will be from 11 AM until the service time of 2 PM, Thursday, September 9, 2021 at the funeral home.

The family wants to give a special thanks to the Caretakers and Nuns of little Sister of the Poor who took wonderful care of her. The family also suggest that memorial gifts may be made to Little Sister of the Poor
