

She was a native of LaRue Co., Kentucky having lived in Hodgenville and in the Leafdale community before moving to Elizabethtown in 1935. She was a graduate of the Bryant Stratton Business School and attended the University of Louisville.
She was a retired Civil Service employee, having worked at the U. S. Army Armor Center at Ft. Knox and at the U. S. Embassy in Brussels, Belgium. She retired from the Bureau of Hearings and Appeals, Dept. of Health and Human Services in Louisville.
She was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church, the Filson Club Historical Society, and the Kentucky Historical Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubbard W. and Eva S. Milby, and a brother; James C. Milby.
Survivors; a sister; Dorothy Borrmann (George), a niece; Patricia M. Crick (Pat), a great nephew; Jeremy Crick (Lyndsey), and a great niece;
Lindsay Crick, all of Louisville.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, in the chapel of Arch L. Heady Russman & Sons Funeral Home, 1201 East Oak Street, with burial at Magnolia Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-5 PM Sunday.
The family would like to thank the staff of Treyton Oak Towers for the loving care, they provided Virginia. Expressions of sympathy may be made to her church.
